Clinical Psychologist in the Philadelphia/Main Line, PA area.

Welcome

With over 13 years of experience in the field, I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, and credentialed with PsyPact, which allows me to conduct virtual therapy sessions across 42 states in the U.S.

Using an insight-oriented (“psychodynamic”) and relational approach to therapy, I help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the underlying factors that contribute to their challenges. This comprehensive approach promotes lasting change by addressing the root causes of distress and empowering clients to make meaningful shifts in their lives.

Therapeutic Process

In my therapy sessions, I am committed to creating a warm and supportive environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. With patience and careful listening, I will offer insights and guidance in a thoughtful, gentle, and non-judgmental manner. Together, we will navigate your challenges, uncover patterns, and explore your own inner resources for resilience and growth, allowing you to embrace a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Areas of Expertise

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship issues

  • Difficulties at college

  • Self-esteem

  • Depression

  • Identity development

I provide therapy to adults aged 18 and older, and specialize in a range of topics, including:

  • Adjusting to parenthood

  • Pregnancy, postpartum, and infertility

  • Life transitions

  • Family issues

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Grief and loss

People often come to therapy with a particular issue in mind. However, as a trusting therapeutic relationship is established and we delve further into our work together, new insights and connections emerge. It's not uncommon for clients to realize underlying patterns, beliefs, or unresolved emotions that have influenced their lives in various ways, or to feel more trusting of the therapeutic relationship and their own inner resources to be able to face certain challenges. Therapy can consist of multiple “chapters,” and as you uncover issues or new topics arise, you will have a compassionate and non-judgmental space to explore them.
