Services
Individual Psychotherapy
50-minute session: $240
Payment is collected at the time of the session, unless we agree to another arrangement. I accept credit cards, checks, or Zelle transfers for payment.
I am happy to provide you with documentation so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision to psychology trainees and early career psychologists, as well as more experienced clinicians who are looking to support and enhance their clinical work.
With trainees and early career psychologists, we might focus on exploring your clinical style and professional identity, treating and conceptualizing clients from a psychodynamic perspective, and any challenges that may arise during the early stages of your career.
For more seasoned clinicians, supervision can provide an opportunity to reflect on your clinical work, explore dynamics in therapeutic relationships, and gain support with complex cases, ethical dilemmas, and personal biases.
Contact me to discuss what you’re looking for, and how I can support you and your clinical work.
Insurance Reimbursement
While I do not participate with insurance plans directly, I can provide you with monthly receipts for reimbursement purposes. Many insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits, which can partially or fully cover therapy costs. If you plan to seek reimbursement, I recommend you check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network benefits prior to starting therapy.
Questions you can ask your insurance provider:
Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
Do I have a deductible for outpatient, out-of-network behavioral health services?
After I meet my deductible, how much will I be reimbursed for a psychotherapy session (procedure code 90834)? Are there limits to how many therapy sessions will be covered in a particular week or year?
Are there differences in getting reimbursed for services provided in-person vs. telehealth?
How do I submit a request for reimbursement?
“No Surprises Act” / Good Faith Estimate: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
